Meet Your GenWealth Family
Getting to know you and your retirement goals will help us build a solid relationship. And we want you to know us as well! Here is our team and what we’re all about.
Manuel (Manny) Negron
Founder / Investment Advisor Representative
Manuel Negron (Manny) has more than 18 years of experience in financial services. He founded GenWealth Advisory Group in 2007 to help those in or nearing retirement with insurance, retirement income planning and wealth management. Manny established GenWealth with the foundational understanding that no two people or families are the same. Therefore, every financial plan developed must be unique to every individual and family we meet with.
Manny’s knowledge and financial insights have been featured on CNBC, USA Today and more. His passion centers around coaching others to help them reach their full potential. His professional knowledge focuses on key retirement areas including Social Security planning, cash flow management and clarifying the process for his clients.
“When people share their goals and aspirations with us, it’s a very personal experience that we take seriously,” Manny says. “We have a single responsibility to listen and create unique plans to help our clients reach their financial goals. Period. At that point, they’re not clients anymore — they’ve become family to us.”
A proud native of Puerto Rico, Manny values family above all else. Having experienced different qualities of life and having lived among different cultures, there’s always been one constant in his life: family. In pursuit of better opportunities for their children, Manny’s parents eventually relocated to Utah in the mid-1980s.
Manny has lived in South Jordan, Utah, for more than 30 years, and married his high school sweetheart, Becky, in 1999. They have three children, Easton, Ainsley and Lincoln, and a fuzzy, three-pound Yorkie named Stella. In his spare time, he loves to watch his children play sports and also enjoys traveling with Becky.
Randy Swartwood
CFO / Partner / Investment Advisor Representative
“Ask yourself how you will spend your time in retirement and look for opportunities to serve or contribute in ways you have not had time for during your working years.”
Randy brings our clients a career of experience in financial services, business and health care-related fields. In addition to his knowledge and expertise, Randy relies on the value of personal communication to help clients achieve their goals, using his abilities to listen intently, comprehend others’ needs, and develop strategies to help someone cross over into retirement.
Randy received his MBA from National University in Irvine, California, in 1985. His early career was spent in the related field of health care, and he worked for Fortune 500 organizations for 20 years. He also began a startup operation supporting seniors to qualify for Medicare and Medicaid and related insurance to meet their health care needs.
Randy joined GenWealth as a Partner in 2022, and says he is proud to be working with this small but close and wonderfully talented team. He meets with people just like him who are nearing a crossroads as they move into retirement and have no idea where to start, or if it can be done. Randy wants to serve as that advisor who has been through the process.
Randy has lived in South Jordan for 13 years with his wife. They have three kids, all married, and now say they have six kids because the spouses have lovingly lost their “in-law” titles. In his spare time, Randy enjoys family time, exercise, yard work and teaching Sunday School.
